Sheet material cut to size for your laser cutter
By laser-ready, we mean sheet material selected for laser processing under the conditions stated on the product page. This is our own range description, not an independent certification or a guarantee for every machine, thickness or colour.
What should you check?
- Known composition: check material, adhesive layers and coatings. Do not laser-process unknown material.
- Suitable laser source: cutting and engraving have different requirements. A suitable material type does not mean your machine can cut every thickness.
- Extraction and supervision: laser processing produces smoke and fumes. Use suitable extraction and follow the machine and material instructions.
- Results and dimensions: smoke deposits, discolouration, melting, warping and kerf depend on material and settings. Only test once composition and laser suitability are known.
Material differences are normal
Wood can develop dark cut edges and thin plywood may warp. Acrylic responds to heat differently from cardboard or foam. Check the product description and technical properties, and choose colour and thickness carefully.
